Sultan Choudhury OBE wins Entrepreneur of the Year

We are delighted to announce that Sultan Choudhury OBE, Executive Chairman at Offa, won Entrepreneur of the Year at the Birmingham Awards.

Sultan commented: “I am deeply honoured to receive this award, which beautifully celebrates our Birmingham heritage. It is a win for the entire Offa team, reflecting our collective drive and passion for leading the sector by providing modern, fast, and seamless Islamic property finance across the city and the UK.”
Based in Solihull, Offa’s Birmingham roots run deep. The founder and two of the three directors who run the company were born in the city. Sultan and his colleague Sagheer Malik, Chief Commercial Officer and MD of Home Finance, are both proud Brummies.
Our Company is named after King Offa, linking Birmingham’s history with early Islamic finance trade, and we are proud to have helped build Birmingham’s reputation as the UK hub for ethical and Islamic finance. We have been working to modernise Sharia-compliant finance with ultra-fast decisions and paperless applications.
Offa also recently won the Financial Services Business of the Year Award at the Islam Channel Business Awards.
