Portfolio stress testing is now based on the average of current 5-year fixed rate products (currently 6.6%), making it more practical for large investors.
You should meet following criteria to be eligible for Portfolio BTL financing:
Portfolio landlords must have been renting out properties for a minimum of two years.
At least 1 applicant in joint applications must meet the two-year letting experience requirement.
Applications are only considered for properties located across England and Wales.
If more than half of a landlord's properties are financed under their name, they must appear on their credit report.
If 1 applicant owns 3 properties and another owns 5, together they are considered to have eight properties in their portfolio.
