Sultan Choudhury OBE Winner of Corporate Leader of the Year at British Muslim Awards 2025

We’re delighted to announce that Sultan Choudhury OBE, our Executive Chairman, has won Corporate Leader of the Year at the 12th British Muslim Awards 2025!

The award recognises decades of inspirational and pioneering work across the Islamic finance industry.

Mr Choudhury, who was joined at the ceremony in Birmingham on Friday by Offa’s Sagheer Malik, Chief Commercial Officer & MD Retail Finance, said: “I’m very honoured to win this award, especially given the high calibre of the award winners and nominees today. What is leadership except for the people that you happen to be leading? All you can try and do is bring the potential out of the people that you lead, to help them to reach their highest level.

In my case it’s been a great honour to lead the team at Offa. It’s a leader in its field, the fastest growing Islamic fintech in the UK, offering groundbreaking speed in buy-to-let and Bridging finance. I’m privileged to lead a wonderful team and it’s really great to be receiving this on behalf of them.”
