Offa Chairman Sultan Choudhury joins Judging Panel for Islam Channel Business Awards 2024

Now in its third year, the prestigious Islam Channel Business Awards are recognised as “the UK’s largest awards celebrating the best of British Muslim Businesses”.

Offa’s Executive Chairman Sultan Choudhury OBE will be sitting on the Judging Panel, reviewing the entries from Britain’s leading Muslim entrepreneurs to determine the 2024 winners.

Sultan forms part of a diverse and impressive panel of fourteen judges that include the first Bangladeshi Member of the House of Lords, The Rt Hon Baroness Uddin, sneaker care brand Crep Protect co-founder Nohman Ahmed, Muzz founder and CEO Shahzad Younas, and businessman Murat Bingöl, who heads MUSIAD UK for Turkish Muslim entrepreneurs and their peers in Turkiye.

The 14 judges will select the best entry in 21 different categories, including Start-Up Business of the Year, Family Business of the Year, and ESG and Sustainable Business of the Year, as well as those who have excelled in their industry sectors, such as food, finance, fashion, travel and real estate.

All the winners will be announced at the Islam Channel Business Awards 2024, which is being held on Friday 9 February 2024.

“Having been a judge for them in previous awards, I know the standards are very high. We have a huge range of entrepreneurial talent that exists right across our growing community. It’s important to shine a light on their incredible achievements and to help inspire future generations too.”
