The UK’s first Sharia-compliant bridge property finance provider Offa has announced the appointment of Mustansar Rashid as Senior Operations Manager and Damien Fletcher as Senior PR & Communications Manager. The pair bring decades of experience to their respective roles, as the Solihill-based business continues to expand.

Mustansar has been working within Islamic financial services for 17 years, with a background in accounting and operations. He recently became a certified member of the Business Continuity Institute and will use his skills to support Offa’s financial operations, develop the customer journey, improve resilience and enable strategic business transformation.
Damien has more than a decade of experience as an accomplished public relations executive, working both in-house at prestigious education and fintech companies and as a global consultant for startups and large global corporations to create and execute wide-ranging global PR campaigns. Prior to this, Damien was a national newspaper journalist for more than a decade.

Ben Reeves, Head of Operations at Offa whom Mustansar reports to, said: “We selected Mustansar for this important role because of the outstanding experience and skillset he brings to Offa. He will play a key role in overseeing our financial operations and helping our customers to realise their ambitions as they move up the property ladder.”

Sagheer Malik, Chief Commercial Officer whom Damien reports to, added: “I am delighted that Damien has joined our team as he will strategically raise our profile across the UK, spreading the word about Offa’s unique Islamic finance offering, focusing crucially on our vision, moral values and quality of service.”
